You have the power to impact
the life of a child in Northwest Haiti. The
future of Haiti lies with the country’s youngest
generation. With nearly 4 million children,
almost half of Haiti’s population is under
the age of 18. The children of Haiti are facing
a serious lack of education, medical care,
nutrition and housing.
Your pledge of $30 a month will insure
the education of a pre-school or elementary
school child (includes uniforms, tuition and
school supplies). For less than $1 per day
we will provide sound nutrition to a child

Jean Rod was
abandoned and left at the MEBI orphanage. His
father had died and his mother, who was living
in extreme poverty, could no longer care for
him. When Jean arrived, he was tremendously
malnourished, very weak, and was withdrawn
with a sad affect.

Please
pray that the relief efforts will outpour and
that the countries involved with relief efforts
be generous. Pray that Americans would be touched
by the fate of their neighbors. Pray for President
Preval who has been working very hard at fighting
the rampant corruption, and for Haiti’s government
to be united in purpose. Pray that the rich Haitian
elite would be touched by the fate of their people
and help the poor.
